Animation
The art of animation is a widely versatile and flexible medium that removes boundaries and frees the creative mind to express concepts and explore topics unlike those possible with traditional video. It doesn’t require special sets or locations or on screen talent and you don’t have to worry about the weather or the time of day or equipment that has to be lugged around and set up before dawn and broken down past midnight. Best of all each animation is like a world unto itself where we get to dictate the sites, sounds, and sense of humor we want to use to teach the next generation some pretty important things.
I have been immensely fortunate to collaborate with a number of brilliant colleagues across disciplines to bring the following projects to life.

Character development
It all begins with a specific need. The need to have a host for a series of educational animations geared toward elementary aged kids and covering a wide range of topics. The character had to be universally recognizable and acceptable to the widest range of cultures across the globe. The exploratory process is displayed in the screen below. Enjoy!
